A child in motion - 11th international scientific and professional conference

A CHILD IN MOTION – THE LOCKDOWN AFTERMATH

The conference is organized by Science and Research Centre Koper, INSTITUTE FOR KINESIOLOGY RESEARCH & Faculty of Sports, University of Ljubljana and will take place in Portoroz, Slovenia from 4th to 6th October 2021.

The conference is divided into the plenary session, thematic sections, poster section, video section and the professional workshops. The plenary session is dedicated to innovation and will be presented by foreign and local experts, while the sections dedicated to oral presentations are divided according to thematic areas. In addition, there will be a poster section where speakers will present a synthesis of their papers in five minutes, and a video section as a novelty for the presentation of conference themes in video materials.

Professional workshops will also be held this year with the aim of presenting examples of good practice in knowledge transfer in the focus area. Guidelines for abstract preparation.

Abstracts should follow the themes of this year’s conference:

  • The motor skills in the children’s integrated development phisical activity for children
  • Biomechanical, physiological and health aspects of motor development of children
  • Psychological, social and educational aspects of motor development of children
  • Developmental neuroscience: implications for childhood and youth interventions and education
  • Systemic changes and new regulations in the field of organized sport and physical activity for children and adolescents
  • Balanced nutrition and integrated development of children
  • Physical environment and its impact on motor development of children
  • Online schooling – opportunities and threats
  • Adapted physical activity of a child

Important deadlines:

  • By 15 June 2021: abstract submission
  • By 1 July May 2021: confirmation of abstract acceptance
  • By 15 July 2021: PARTICIPANTS REGISTRATION
  • By 1 August 2021: reduced registration fee payment for participants with confirmed papers
  • By 1 September 2021: fee payment for participants presenting papers in e-proceedings
  • By 15 September 2021: fee payment for participants not presenting papers.
  • 4 October 2021: beginning of the Conference
