Enrolment requirements

Anyone who has completed the bachelor's study programme Sports Training, Sports Education, Sports Recreation and Tourism and Kinesiology can enrol in the master's study programme Sports Training. One of the enrolment requirements is also a pass in the test of sports knowledge and motor abilities and sports history (the decision about the form and method of testing is taken by the Senate of the Faculty of Sport).

If a decision about the limited enrolment is taken, the candidates will be chosen on the basis of the performance in the bachelor’s degree (50 % of the points), sports history and their track record as trainer (50 % of the points).

 

Criteria for the recognition of knowledge and skills gained prior to the enrolment for the programme

 

Who can enrol for the master’s Sports Training programme?

  1. Anyone who has completed the bachelor’s study programme Sports Training.
  2. Anyone who has completed the bachelor’s study programme Sports Education, Sports Recreation and Kinesiology and has successfully completed the course Sport A totalling 19 CP.
  3. Anyone who has completed a bachelor’s study programme from other areas of social and natural sciences that are not listed in the previous paragraph if he/she fulfils his/her study obligations totalling 50 CP that are essential for the continuation of the study prior to the enrolment for the study programme: basics of the movement in sport, sport A, nervous and muscular basics of movement, pedagogy of sport, fitness preparation, physical and motor development and basics of the process of practice.
  4. Anyone who has completed the university study programme Sports Education approved before 18 April 2003.
  5. Anyone who has completed the higher education professional study programme Sports Training approved before 13 January 2005.

 

All candidates under Item 3 must also fulfil the requirement concerning the test of sports skills and motor abilities or have a suitable sports history (the decision about the form and method of testing is taken by the Senate of the Faculty of Sport).

In case of limited enrolment, candidates will be chosen on the basis of their average grade achieved in the undergraduate programme and the grade of their bachelor’s thesis.

 

Number of enrolment places:

  • Full-time study: 30
  • Part-time study: 30
